The current committee take any genuine issues that members may have with the club very seriously. We have an open access policy to the committee via various email addresses which can be found on the website under contacts . All issues raised are openly discussed by the committee and are followed-up. The Committee fully recognises it is accountable to its members and is more than willing to discuss any issues members may have, but it will not engage with comments on personal FB pages or various group pages as it is not appropriate to do so. We would also like to remind users of social media of the RKC's code of conduct which we are obliged to follow. This has a section on the use of social media. https://www.thekennelclub.org.uk/about-us/about-the-kennel-club/the-kennel-club-codes/the-kennel-club-code-of-conduct/ These social media posts are very upsetting to the committee and their families, causing distress and taking the committee's energies away from what we genuinely want to achieve with club. The Committee has sent a private and personal acknowledgement to the family of the late Julie Dowden and we would please ask that everyone in the LM community respects the family's privacy at this sad time. It is intended to preside over a minute’s silence in Julie’s memory prior to the commencement of the LM Club Open Show on 21 January.
